Counter Demonstration
Greensboro NC
21 April 2007

The communist front organization The World Can't Wait (founded by the Revolutionary Communist Party) has invited Cindy Sheehan to speak at an anti-America rally in Greensboro, NC, on 21 April.

The GOE is organizing a counter-demonstration with the goal of handing Cindy Sheehan a virtual slap in the face. One that might discourage her from appearing at future WCW organized events.

The Eagles will gather on the east side of Greene St. between February 1 Pl. and W. Washington St., near the center of Greensboro. Park in the large lot south of W. Washington St, bounded on the east by Federal Pl. and on the west by Eugene St.

Timeline for Saturday, 21 April 2007
9:00AM - First GOE members on site.
11:00AM - All GOE members are urged to be present by this time.
12:00PM - WCW program begins. Communists cheer, GOE jeers.
3:00PM - It should all be over by now.

The WCW organizers have scheduled a number of speakers as well as a live band. It is not certain when Cindy Sheehan is scheduled to appear in the program, but it may be right around noon. The organizers are also holding an Anti-War Fair, presumably on the Phill G. McDonald Plaza as well, that will feature artwork and performers.
